7/13/2019 1 Comment Family Sessions- Extended FamiliesI absolutely love working with families, especially when they invite their extended family to join in on the fun! The more the merrier right!? I first met Alyssa back in 2017 when she reached out to me from NYC to set up a milestone session for her son. We ended up shooting their session at the Surf City pier here in North Carolina. It was adorable! Fast forward two years later and I not only had the opportunity to work with her and her son again, but I also got to meet her parents, brother and her brothers girlfriend. They were all dream to work with and the camera LOVED them!

3/17/2017 5 Comments Booking Your Newborn SessionWhen it comes to booking your newborn session, there are a lot of questions about how this the process works. Since your new little prince or princess isn’t here yet, it’s hard to figure out a schedule. Here is what I suggest:
Contact me during the beginning of your third trimester to set a date for the session. If you are anything like me you can always reach out sooner. A deposit of 50% of the session fee is required to hold the date for you. I prefer to schedule newborn sessions during the first 14 days after birth. This means that we will schedule the session for sometime within 2 two weeks of your due date. I will also hold a spot for two backup dates – one a week after the original session date, and one a week prior to your due date. This is to ensures that if your little peanut doesn’t come according to schedule that you’ll still be covered. I also understand that not everything always goes according to plan and I will be happy to work with you. Keep in contact with me as your pregnancy comes to a close, so we can be prepared. After the baby is born, give me a call or shoot me a message so I can make sure that one of the dates we have set will work out or if we need to move some things around. This is such an exciting time for a new family and I cannot wait to capture your very first memories. 3/3/2017 6 Comments Anmarie ElliottAs this is my first official Blog I should probably start by introducing myself. Hi! I'm Anmarie. First off, I am a wife to a very hard working Marine and a mother to our two beautiful children. Jaxton Cane our rainbow baby. He is a very smart and stubborn two and half year old. And little Miss Larkin Hope, our little surprise baby. She is a sweet and sassy one and half. Yup folks, they are literally a year apart both born in July and we consider them our Irish twins. My husband and my babies are my everything!
I was originally introduced to photography when I was in College studying to be an Art Teacher. I had the awesome opportunity to learn 35 mm film and experince the mystery of a darkroom, I loved it! Fast forward several years when I started experimenting with a digital camera and different lenses. With the encouragement of my awesome hubby and the help from some really awesome mentors I have been able to turn this love I have into something so much more! I have some very exciting things planed for this year one of which is a BOUDOIR Workshop hosted by Shuttergram Portraits in the mountains of NC. I look forward to sharing all the details from my adventure. |
